Plastic,advert by development of petrochemistry or polymer
chemistry to substitute
conventional material such as wood and steel is become very
popular with it's low
cost,light weight and easy of work.Now a day it is impossible
to imagine the world
without plastic.
It,however,takes very long time to be decomposed in nature and
often plastic is
recognized as one of the biggest cause of pollution.
Thus,damand of environment friendly material is raised and bio-degradable
plastic
is the plastic which decomposed completely into water and methane
by
microorganism such as bacteria,alga or fungus.It usually made
by starch or
aliphatic polyester.Starch is extract from potatoes or corns
and aliphatic polyester
is maed by substitute benzene ring to hydrocarbon among molecular
structure
of non-bio-degradable aromatic polyester so that the material
decomposed
completely in nature. |

for packing and artificial fabric,pertroleum,
would last longer than next 20~70years. |

However,PLA is comlpetely recyclable
and supply of resource is very stable.
Also it has almost same capability to conventional plastic and
good price compatibility. It is
expected that price compatibility of PLA is going to be bigger
as oil resource is excausted.
Using safe and environmental friendly material is the way to
improve quality of our life. |
